I took this picture by Wayne State. I liked this building because close up it seemed very massive and historic. The brick is also a nice focal point because of the sunshine which I enjoyed. At points it was kind of hard to take photos of because there was a lot of signage at the base of it, but I think I did a good job of still capturing its essence.

This building I took downtown and I like it because it reminds me of some sort of bank out of Harry Potter. I like the arch and pillar architecture a lot, and I think many of the designs on the brick add a lot of detail. I really enjoyed taking this picture because all of the angles were easy to get and I didnt have to do any crazy movements.

This building was right across from the last one (both downtown Detroit), and I think it effectively highlights the beauty of some of the buildings Detroit has to offer. Because of its size I had to stay pretty far away to take the picture. The day I took these pictures the sun was out, and I think it really helped this picture.

This building immediatley caught my eye when I stopped in Belle Isle. I like the spanish esque roofing it has, and the tower (shown above) were on all four sides of the building which really gave the building dimension. I also really like the way the "Find Edges" filter picked up a lot of the lines on the roofing for the blueprint.

This was a fun picture to take as I was actually in a moving car when I took it. Althought that may sound weird it was definitley not intended that way! But I really liked taking this picture that way because I was able to keep a familiar aspect of the tower in each of my photographs.
